SAFETY TRAINING
Safety and OSHA compliance are at the forefront of construction today. To that end, we offer safety training through our three Access Equipment Rental branches, which are located in Raleigh, Charlotte, and Greensboro, N.C.
Our OSHA-certified trainers are highly qualified to train employers and their employees in the three areas required by OSHA: Scaffold User Certification, Scaffold Erector Training, and Competent Person Awareness Training. Each training session is 4 to 5 hours, and we use a variety of training methods in English and in Spanish including booklets, DVDs, PowerPoint presentations, and other audio and video techniques. Upon completion, individual must pass a test to receive a certification card in the area of training.
We can also provide training at one of our three North Carolina branches. A variety of topics are available to fit your specific needs, including:
- Competent Person Awareness Training
- Scaffold Erector Training
- Scaffold User Training
- Safety at Heights
- Equipment Inspection
- Understanding OSHA
- Fall Protection
- Equipment Applications
- Engineered Systems
To schedule an on-site program or learn about programs scheduled at our branches, contact Michael Strickland at (919) 832-1444 or E-mail mstrickland@camfabinc.com.

I used to spend 10 minutes of every hour looking down at wobbly structure that was below my feet, and that added up to 1 ¼ hour a day that I was spending afraid of my scaffold collapsing. Now that my whole crew is certified in all three areas (scaffold user, scaffold erector and competent person awareness), I no longer waste time looking down, because I know that we have all been trained in the proper way to assemble and use scaffolding.
